ALISSA WHITESIDE - STUDIO OWNER

Yoga changes my life daily. I become stronger, more flexible, more open, more grateful and more conscious every day. I teach yoga to share my love of this life changing practice with the aim of helping you find your own way to peace, to purpose, to strength and to nourishment.

I began practicing yoga in 2009 just after my first son was born. What started as purely physical (I wanted to tone) emerged into a life changing journey of self discovery. Fast forward a decade later and Move Yoga Harrogate was born out of my desire to share this practice with as many people as I can.

My classes are designed to move your body and to nourish your soul. They are light-hearted and predictably unpredictable. Please view the different types of classes I offer here and come join me on the mat soon!

KATE

Kate has been a member at Move for years and fell so in love with her practice that she recently completed her yoga teacher training and embarked on her teaching journey.

Eager to continue her studies, she is currently in the process of completing a certification to teach Restorative and Yoga Nidra.

If she is not practicing/teaching/learning about yoga,  Kate loves spending time in nature with her rescue dog Mia, reading books with a good old cuppa, eating any food she can get her hands on and going to the cinema.

Join Kate for class and you will leave feeling stretched and refreshed!

AIMEE

Aimee trained with The Yoga Space Leeds in 2018 after practicing yoga for 4 years. She is a keen runner and additionally sought training in yoga for sports. She has taught Harrogate Harriers, Harrogate Tri-Club as well as yoga classes focussed on Ashtanga, senior and beginners.

She recently had a break from teaching to spend time with her young family but is now returning to yoga teaching and is looking forward to guiding you through your practice.

Aimee believes there is a yoga for everyone, you just need to find yours.
